Emergencies

We offer 2 emergency appointments per day. These emergency appointments are usually scheduled at 1:30pm and 3:30pm. An additional emergency fee is associated with those bookings.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to take on appointments outside the clinic hours. For emergencies we are unable to fit in our schedule, we suggest calling Selkirk Veterinary Hospital (250-352-2999)

For emergencies after hours (or if other clinics are unavailable), Fairfield Animal Hospital is the only 24/7 hour animal hospital in the area. Call them at (250) 860-6550 to discuss your veterinary care needs.

For poison ingestion concerns, call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Hotline, which can be reached 24 hours a day at 888-426-4435.
